These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) constitute a legally binding agreement between you (“User”, “you”, “your”) and Irisz Fashion Institute (“Institute”, “we”, “us”, “our”), a leading fashion designing institute established in 2016 in Chennai. By accessing or using our Website, submitting an enquiry, enrolling in any course, or availing any of our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Website or our services.
1. Definitions
- Services: All fashion designing, textile technology, boutique management, beauty, makeup, hairstyling, and related certificate, diploma, master’s diploma, short-term, and workshop programs offered by the Institute, whether in-person, blended, or through e-learning.
- Courses: The full range of programs listed on the Website, including but not limited to Diploma in Fashion Technology and Designing, Masters Diploma in Textiles & Fashion Technology, Boutique Management, Fashion Styling, Bridal Fashion Designing, Makeup & Hairstyling, Cosmetology, Pattern Making, and all short-term workshops.
- Content: All text, images, videos, course materials, curriculum, illustrations, designs, logos, and other information available on the Website or provided during courses.
By enrolling in any of our fashion courses at Irisz Fashion Institute, you agree to the following terms and conditions: – Attendance: Regular attendance is mandatory for all classes. Students are expected to attend a minimum of 80% of the total classes to be eligible for certification. – Course Completion: Students must complete all assignments, projects, and exams as prescribed by the institute to be eligible for certification. – Payment Terms: Course fees are non-refundable and non-transferable. Payment schedules and modes will be communicated at the time of admission. – Intellectual Property: All course materials, designs, and intellectual property created during the course are the property of Irisz Fashion Institute.
2. Services and Course Information
We provide job-oriented, industry-aligned training in fashion designing, apparel production, textile management, beauty & makeup, and related fields. Course descriptions, durations, fees, and outcomes on the Website are for informational purposes only and subject to change without prior notice. Actual curriculum, schedule, and facilities may vary based on batch size, faculty availability, and industry requirements. We reserve the right to modify, reschedule, or cancel any course due to insufficient enrollment or unforeseen circumstances.
Enrollment is subject to availability and our sole discretion. We offer blended learning (classroom + e-learning) to suit your needs.
3. Enrollment and User Accounts
You may submit an enquiry or application through the Website’s contact/admission forms. Submission of personal information is voluntary. Upon acceptance, you will receive confirmation via email or phone. You represent that all information provided is accurate, current, and complete. We may reject any application without assigning reasons.
4. Fees, Payments, and Billing
Course fees are as quoted at the time of enrollment (or as communicated via email/phone). Full or installment payment must be made as per the agreed schedule. We accept payments through bank transfer, online modes, or any other method specified at the time of admission. All fees are non-transferable.
GST and other applicable taxes are included or charged extra as per prevailing Indian law. Late payments may attract interest or result in suspension from classes.
5. Cancellations and Refund Policy
- Before Course Commencement: Refund requests must be made in writing within 7 days of payment. We will refund the fee after deducting a 10% administrative charge, subject to approval.
- After Course Commencement: No refunds will be issued once the course has started, except in exceptional cases (medical or other verifiable reasons) at the sole discretion of the Institute.
- Course Cancellation by Institute: Full refund will be processed within 15 business days if we cancel a course before it begins.
All refunds will be processed via the original payment method within 30 days. This policy is subject to applicable Indian consumer laws.
6. Intellectual Property Rights
All Content, course materials, designs, patterns, illustrations, teaching methodologies, and digital resources are the exclusive intellectual property of Irisz Fashion Institute and protected under Indian Copyright Act, 1957, and other applicable laws. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, or commercially exploit any Content without our prior written consent. Any assignments or projects created by students during the course remain the property of the Institute for promotional and portfolio purposes unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Students retain ownership of their personal creative work but grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use it for marketing, testimonials, and portfolio display.
7. User Conduct and Responsibilities
You agree to:
- Use the Website and Services only for lawful purposes.
- Not engage in disruptive behavior, harassment, or unauthorized recording of classes.
- Respect faculty, staff, and fellow students.
- Maintain confidentiality of any proprietary information shared during training.
We reserve the right to terminate access or enrollment without refund if these Terms are violated.
8. Placements, Internships, and Guarantees
We provide placement assistance and internship opportunities through our network of 50+ Indian and international brands. However, we do not guarantee employment, salary, or specific job outcomes. Success depends on individual performance, skills, and market conditions. Testimonials and alumni stories reflect individual experiences and are not indicative of guaranteed results.
9. Disclaimers and Warranties
The Website and Services are provided “as is” without any warranties, express or implied. We do not warrant uninterrupted access, error-free operation, or that the training will meet all your expectations. Course outcomes depend on your dedication and external factors. We disclaim liability for any loss or damage arising from reliance on Website information.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability shall not exceed the total fees paid by you for the relevant course. We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or opportunities.
